What is a Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer sealant that chemically bonds to your paint, creating a hard, hydrophobic protective layer. It repels water, dirt, bugs, bird droppings, and protects against Brisbane’s harsh UV rays and salt.
Is Ceramic Coating better than wax?
Significantly better. Wax lasts only weeks in Queensland’s sun. Ceramic coatings last years, makes washing easier, and provides real chemical and UV protection.
Is Ceramic Coating worth the investment?

How long does Ceramic Coating last?
Our entry-level coatings last 5 years, pro-tier 7 years, and Elite tier up to 10 years with proper and consistent maintenance.
Do I need Paint Correction before Ceramic Coating?
Yes. We always correct the paint first so the coating bonds to a flawless surface for maximum gloss, depth, and durability.
How do I maintain a Ceramic Coated car?
Wash with pH-neutral shampoo every 2 weeks or per month depending on how often and where you drive it. Use a soft, plush wash mitt for cleaning and use blower or microfibre towels for drying and avoid automatic car washes. We offer maintenance packages to keep it performing at its best.
Can I still go through a car wash after Ceramic Coating?
No. We recommend proper hand-washing procedures or touchless options. Traditional automatic brushes can cause swirl marks over time as well as effect your ceramic coatings performance.
Does Ceramic Coating protect against stone chips or rock damage?
It offers minor resistance to light scratches and swirl marks, but it is not the be all and end all for this. A better option for this is Paint Protection Film (PPF). Ceramic is excellent for chemical, UV, and dirt protection. For maximum impact protection we recommend PPF on vulnerable areas.
How long do I have to wait before I can wash my car after Ceramic Coating?
We recommend waiting at least 7–10 days (sometimes up to 14 days) for the coating to fully cure. During this time, avoid washing, parking under sprinklers, or exposing the car to rain if possible.
Can Ceramic Coating be applied to my matte or satin paint?
We offer specific matte-safe ceramic coatings. Standard gloss coatings are not suitable for matte finishes, so please mention your paint type when booking so we can quote the correct product.
